Why cant we talk by phone purchased premium subscription on February 13 so why am I being told its time to renew?? One year is not up!

Dissatisfaction with company

I have been trying for two,or three years to cancel subscription to a service that I could never get to work properly anyway. In spite of ringing help lines that told me what they wanted to tell me not what I needed to know.

This year again received an email telling they were going to,take 150 dollars from my account in spite of having told me last year that they had cancelled it so again I have been forced through a rigmarole where every attempt was made to persuade me that I should carry on paying McAfee as I had been a loyal customer. I had only been a loyal customer because they found a way of preventing me not being one. I explained that I had found another provider but they still insisted on trying to persuade me to p;as for something which I could not get to work and for which no advice was available in spite of hours spent onto the phone.

At last today I think I may have managed to rid myself of this very persistent company whose customer support in my experience was non-existent. My advice to anyone else is simply AVOID.

Spam saying virus

I hit a website and now I am getting 20 notifications every 15 minutes. When I click on them it says I have a virus and every one of them shows a macafee screen to get rid of it. Even worse I bought a Norton anti-virus and it won't stop it.

Pissed after buying McAffee and got nothing and no refund

I paid $119 for McAffee protection on my laptop did not get it!I called McAffee and talked to someone with a very heavy accent ..I could not understand a word she said.so to make a 3 hr.story short I am still without my paid for McAfeey and no payment return I am an elderly person on SSI and cannot afford to give my money away.Stay far-far away to McAffee!-

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I called Customer Service and wanted to discontinue the services they provided. They emailed me that my account would be credited the amount I paid, which I did receive.

The number is no longer in use. I have an unresolved issue with my renewal subscription. I am not able to access my account to manage my expired subscription with McAfee. Every time I click on the customer service link, it shows the page that says unable to access the page. If I can not get this issue resolved, I will have to demand for a refund.
