Tried to cancel subscription with no results

I was notified my email that they were going to renew my subscription. I responded I did not want to renew it. Yesterday I was notified that I had to call them to cancel. Today after switching from three to four people, I got no result. They could not help me.Stay away from Mcafeehey T

User's recommendation: Stay away from Mcafee if you want good customer service. They do not know what that is.

No help at all with customer service

I called to cancel my subscription to Mcafee and I kept being sent to three different people for help. After about half an hour they told me they couldn't help me.

User's recommendation: stay away from Mcafee, because if you have problems you are on your own.

I haven't heard back. PS. There is no person anywhere, except a lawyer, who reads the terms and service agreements on anything. It is too much and too convoluted even for lawyers.

Updates are working havoc with my computer

After an update vpn didn't work for a week; then after an update my computer slowed down to a snails pace; then after an update I couldn't open .docx documents because virus scan froze them; then it was all okay. Today after an update I can't open .docx documents again. Why can't they insure that something works before updating? I have years with MacAfee and have always liked it before. I am considering changing now.

Horrendous customer service

Mcafee - Horrendous customer service
1) My login didn't work, 15 minutes after setting up the account. 2) Was advised to call to get it situated but was put on hold for over 78 minutes before being disconnected 2) Tried the Chat feature (had to wait 7 minutes for someone to respond) and then after 20 minutes I was told that it was going to be escalated. I was then put hold. After 10 minutes of no response I moved on and decided to share my experience with the world.

The subscription renewal didn't happen.

Please refer to SR 1-8010****. Subscription renewal did not take place. I have paid still the issue is same.

Subscription is not updated

Digital buy from Amazon on 5/22/21 doesn't work. My account at McAfee shows that I do not have any subscription.

User's recommendation: make sure on the same day that the code is working & shows at your account.
